How to be a harley davidson mechanic?

I live in north Texas and a very good friend of mine wants to be a Harley Davidson mechanic but says the only schools are in Arizona and Florida. Are there any alternatives?

Thats pretty much it... if you are in North Texas go and talk to a friend of mine: Jessie Holt at the Harley shop in Allen Tx. He can fill you in... I know that when these guys go for new model updates they get a paid ride to either Florida or Arizona depending on the type of update schooling needed. I would guess that all makes have to have continuing training for techs... I tell you this: I trust Jess, and have with my bike. he has done everything on it that I have not been able to do myself... he has the specialized tools I don't have. This guy is top shelf... all the way.
