Not preforming on Vance and Hines Slip ons on Harley Davidson XL883 Sporster 07 model?

If I install the v&h slip on's on a harley davidson 07 sportster 883 do I need to do anything else to the bike?

My dealer has recently installed some with no other modifications and it seems to have affected the performance of my bike? What do you recommend?
I have now had my bike in 3 or 4 times and my dealer refuse to accept that this is the case. Insisting that I should... "keep the revs up".
