Pomrat very weezy and congested after accident with dog next door?

I have a 1 1/2 year old PomRat, Harley. He is the sweetest, most obedient dog ever, and my wife and I love him to death. Very affectionate, very energetic dog, he weighs about 10 lbs. Last Sunday he was playing with my neighbors golden retreiver (70lbs) and the Golden Retreiver rolled over on top of Harley.

My dog struggled to get back up, then just went limp. We rushed him to emergency care who turned us away because the doctor was going home for the night.

Long and short, my dog snapped out of it and is running and playing and his usual self the next day. He seems a little sore in his legs, but the major thing I noticed is that he has major congestion in his nose. Sounds like allergies or a cold. No congestion in chest... I listened for it.

I have an appointment with my vet, of course, but I'm still worried... any thoughts on if this is serious or what it could be?

I am sorry to say but your dog sounds like he could have broke some ribs. I hope though this is the only thing that happened. Alot of times when smaller dogs get smushed, it can collasp a lung. You vet can help and sorry they would not see you that night.
