Biography

Orchestra Kazoo Funk formed in Scotland in late 2005 as a pre-apocalyptic happy-go-round with musicians collectively, anti-poets, painters and dancers finger. Construction melodies in a DIY project studio producer Ray McCartney in the lounge, the interchange of tape and inspiration from different genres to create a sound eclectic mix tape.

In May 2006 the band released their debut 25 track album Midnight Finger Painter, in which 500 copies included a finger painting that created by fans and band members. The album featured the infectious indie ditty, Baby No Eyes, and follow Youé psychedelic folk-hop, Disco Disco Disco Theque.

The launch of Midnight Finger Painter was followed by a few local gigs and then returned to the studio for more recording sessions. Adventures on earth about Felt, was released as an EP of 13 January 2007, with the b-soul tinge, Have you already sent you the ball and sexy pop song, Dinner dirty.

In summer 2007, the group packed into a couple of cars and took their first tour in the United Kingdom, including a pair of festival dates. In a burst of confetti and balloons, each concert has become a party by inviting people to join the party. And standing just outside the tent at the Festival Solus Wicker Strip guarantee slot closures in the 2008 Festival wicker.

During the winter months of 2007-2008 frozen, the band in the studio and gave birth to this album Self Titled, his second album. The collection of songs from 50 songs from the album, including Robots in Your Eyes, radio with batteries, and the beautiful Carnival. Launched initially as a CD limited edition in July 2008, with a pencil in the spine and a coloring book as filling, then Released on digital download.

The group then took their show on the road again, stopping at various festivals and live events on the road. And with the addition of six new members to the band, plus more balloons, confetti and bands than ever, the show has become an experience not to be lost.

Shortly after that the group has completed its tour, the BBC invited to Stornoway to record a live session for BBC PHILANSA. The session will be on BBC Alba in January 2009.

Nominated for a Prix at Indianapolis in 2008.

Featured on the compilation YourSound Wah King Tut's Wah Hut, "The Best of term One'which also presented such acts, we, like physics and Dykeenies.
