Harley Davidson Nightster is a good starter bike?

I'm 5'11 and 240 pounds, the Nightster would be a good fit? or should I go with iron 883, any help is appreciated.

YES .... The Sportster makes GREAT 'biginners a bike! NO NINEBADTEETH swayed otherwise! To my taste I prefer the iron on the Nightster ... this is why ... These are my answers to similar questions .... If you like the 883 ... go for it ...... that can be easily for 1200 and become more energy out of a population of 1200. Get tubes and an air filter! WITH the Screamin Eagle Super Tuner! This will give the bike about 12-15 horsepower over population .... super tuner will allow future upgrades without additional cost adjustment. You can easily convert to 1200 the future ... if desired. The 883 has a lower intake / exhaust give a higher consumption and the speed of the exhaust gases, creating more torque. The 883 also has 2 smaller sprocket teeth of more torque, a conversion of 883 to 1,200 to operate a factory of 1200 ..... all this can be done by slightly less than the cost of the bike 1200 ONLY. Iron would be a great beginner bike, especially being a 883. The engine easily upgraded easily to 1200 or buy 1,200 new cylinders and pistons, but I recommend you get bored to 1200 with reverse Dome Keith Black Pistons. The bike is not too heavy, has a good height, and half square, and handles quite well. I recommend that the dealer make a Stage 1 download on your computer, even more fully the actions, but you should do if you have tubes and filter installed air (preferred is to have a tuner installed Screamin Eagle SUPER). If you have pipes put on it to make it stronger, get the HD Screamin Eagle Hi-Flo filter also put air ..... let the engine breathe EPA restricted Larry !!!!! G above is completely wrong when it comes to being useless after the Stage 1 download. You want the Screamin Eagle SUPER TUNER !!!!....... and have it Dyno TUNED ..... sttle not only have to load the base map. The difference between being ready and base map is like night and day. The base maps are just that ... a basis for the way you work. Each engine is so individaul who we are as human beings, each of them requires a little finesse and fine-tuning to perform them optimally. Super tuner will also allow for easy tuning of any update future you can do. Shock scenario is not just a generic high-definition map is "acceptable" to all the bikes .... this is CRAP !!!...... the Stage 1 download is made specifically for high definition with Screamin Eagle mufflers and air cleaner ... ... Not all mufflers (or exhaust system complete) flow exactly the same and not all air filters flow exactly the same way ... if any changes in the exhaust and intake that scenario 1 was not designed, we will not return to work as well ..... as I said each engine is different. As the output power goes .... will vary in the components that are used and fits so well .... but on average to complete an update STOCK exhaust / air filter, super tuner, about 12-15 horsepower ........ Here XR1200 is one that I just recently ......... I had ported heads big valves, high-flo guides, radius valve job, compression of 10.5:1, the CNC ported throttle body, Screamin Eagle air filter, RedShift Cameras, and modified exhaust action, all with a Screamin Eagle Super Tuner modified by ECM. This was actually one of the easiest bikes I've tuned .... off @ 6700rpm 112hp and 108 ft / lbs of torque @ 5900rpm .............. these measures are taken the non-WHEEL ... crank ..... and are higher numbers of HD STOCK 103 "Big Twin .............
