Pros: Excellent mill operation. Grind all very small, so I hope there will be sewers clogged with little former mill. 
And 'quiet as a mill could be HP, I think. 

Cons: Even with EZ mount collar, it is very difficult for a person to install it. The sound insulating cover is so high, the collar can get low enough to avoid locking the ring without two people to lift and the center of heavy aid. The old 3-pin system would be easier. 
The noise is not essential, but it may appeal to owners of Harley a very low growl.

Easy Install

The Waste King 8000 replaced our old leaking Badger disposal. 

The switch over to the new unit was simple. In less than 45 minutes the old unit was in the garbage and the Waste King was up and running. All needed parts were included. 

The Waste King 8000 has power to spare and runs very quiet 

I defiantly recommend this unit

Powerful grinder, excellent operation, difficult mounting.

Pro: Excellent grinder operation. Grinds everything very small so I hope I will not have the clogged drains I have had with a previous weaker grinder. 
It is as quiet as a 1 HP grinder could be, I suppose. 

Cons: Even with the EZ mount collar, it is very hard for a single person to mount it. The noise insulating cover comes so high it can obstruct the collar dropping low enough to lock the ring without two people to help lift and center the heavy motor. The old 3-bolt system would have been easier. 
The noise is not insignificant, but it may appeal to Harley owners as it has a low loud growl.

It works well, but it's not this silent machine that others make it out to be. Initially there is a metal clunking sound upon start-up, but that has subsided. It is a fine unit.

Bad to the bone . . .

What can I say? Installation was a snap, it is far quieter and much more powerful than my last disposal. I've had the unit for about a year and never had to reset it or any other issues. I own a duplex and when the time comes to replace the disposal of other unit it will definitely be with the a Waste King. I would have gave it six stars if it installed itself.
